Here is what I am doing.... Black H3, Black powder coated rims, 33" tyres, black brush gaurd, handles and all are black as well, lux package.....but.....

it does not have the back-up camera. The question for you is how important do you all feel the rear camera is? They (Sewell) have an aftermarket license plate cover camera that has a projector that "fits" beside the rear view, but not having seen it, I am a bit reluctant.

I would really like a camera for safety issues with kids, etc, but is it really necssary? Thoughts or other solutions? Sewell wants $900 for the set-up, and no, I do not have the nav unit.

 

I don't have the camera on the 3 and don't miss it. I had it on the H2 and with the bumper mounted spare tire carrier I think I needed it. I can see out of the H3 just fine.

 

I've had my H2 for a little over a month now. I test drove an H3 and I really couldn't feel the difference between the 2 when it came to passing, then again where I live I am lucky to even go 30 on the freeway anyway. I have the spare tire mounted on my bumper and there is a huge blind spot right under the bumper but I would say that I haven't missed or wished I had a camera yet. The one thing we do wish we had was the nav, just for the one time we drove it to a friend's house before a rain storm and then tried to find out way back during a pretty rough one (as rough as they get in CA).
