Just noticed this today. It seems that my tailgate is scratching my roof. The paint is chipped down to the bare metal. This happened to any of you before? I want to get my facts straight before I go to the dealership since they are an hour away. Here are the pictures...sorry for the quality, they are taken from my cell phone.

 

Looks like it is out of alignment... not unheard ofon new vehicles... that's why they give you a warranty.

I'd go to the dealer.

I know... especially on a brand new truck... My work van had the cargo door out on it.. and it chipped the paint and they didn't even give me touch up paint...

of course 9 months and 33,000 miles later I could care less... but it mattered then.

 

Dealer should take care of it. never saw a misalignment that bad on a new vehicle though.

 

WOW!!! That's pretty bad..have you noticed any water in the back after you wash it or a major rain storm? Take it to the dealer and get fixed or replaced.

 

i haven't noticed any water leaks yet. I'll be going to the dealer this week. I'll update the thread when I have news.
