Default Has anyone painted their grille / front & rear bumpers?

Hi all,

Has anyone attempted to body color match their H3? Ive seen some painted grilles, what about front & rear bumpers? obviously this would be easy if you have a black or white truck, but I have a green H3 and am wondering if anyone did it themself on a red or other colored H3. I think it would look good, but not sure how it would look on textured / chrome surface.

I painted my front grille the body color and stopped there.
I have no idea what a front and rear bumper would like painted the same color
It is all up to you, but I have not seen one.
Good luck

Looks great. How did you go about painting the grille?

I won't tell you if you decide to do your truck like the green one in the above post.
That H3 looks hideous.

I first removed my grille and I took it to the local body shop
and they repainted it the factory bolder grey. I gave them the paint code. Since this material is plastic it requires
a special flex agent in the paint and a good clear coat. They gave me two coats since it was a grille.
It has held up well for many years now and it was about $200.00 +/- out the door and a two day turn around
