How did you take this piece out? Hammer? Dremel tool?

I had the same problem when I installed an Eclipse ACN6620 in my H3. I had to use a different dounle DIN adapter, and the unit sticks out of the dash a quarter-inch or so. The DIN adapter I used doesn't look as sturdy as the one made for the H3.

Your installation looks great. I like the look of the graphics much better than my Eclipse. Much easier to read when you're driving! Do you have a link with more info on the G4?
