Default System is finally done.

Alright, so last night at my friend's shop we finally finished the system up. The only thing left is to find a better way to secure the rear battery.

Kenwood Excelon DNX9960 w/ custom startup screen I made.

After we got everything set up yesterday I was STILL having problems with lights dimming. I figured it was probably the ****ty OEM battery under the hood and went for an Optima Red Top 800CCA 1000CA. All important power and grounds have been upgraded to 0 Gauge too. The Optima fixed the problems with lights dimming and the system slams at fill tilt now no problem.

Here is the PAC 200 Amp Battery Isolater. If you don't know what this does its basically just a relay that disconnects the back battery from the front when the truck is off so I can play the system without killing the front battery.

Here is the rear battery. Kinetik HC1800. This thing is a total BEAST.

Amp and Cap. Amp is a Kenwood X1200M 1200W RMS.

Ground location for everything.

How it looks with the cover on and seat up, pretty clean.

And finally the subs. Two Rockford Fosgate 15 Inch T1's. 2 OHM, 600W RMS a piece.

I made it in photoshop. If your head unit supports replacing the startup screen let me know, I'll upload it and post it so you can play with it. Mine had to be some funky format and exactly the right size. Took a few tries to get right, it wouldn't even display because I had the format wrong.

Well, I killed that piece of **** Kenwood X1200M amplifier. It died on me while driving one day. I suspect something was never right from the get go with that thing, the bass never felt deep or powerful enough.

Stay tuned for two Cadence DCA-1000.1 bridged together for 2000RMS of pure awesome.
