Agreed,,, the DB does look darker than the trim,, but the DB does not look to have a shine to it,, it does look flat.

Im pretty sure the DB cover could be painted though to better match the color of the trim.

Perhaps the DB colors matchs the trim color better in person,,, pictures might not be doing it justice,,,, just a thought.

This link is another hard tonneau cover from the maker of the Slantback cover. It is a Nice lid that rolls over the bed rails and can be painted to match the paint on the truck. Functional, but not durable like the DB in terms of bearing weight. They are around the same price too and gives you a different look depending on what you want.

Good stuff, I really wish I could see some of these in person, before I make a decision.

But with the limited number of H3Ts running around, I am doubtful many truck accessory shops will carry these... (I guess if it is the same color) I could just look at a different truck's size, to get an idea?)
