Default GM please make a better product

I love the H3 for its looks and the way it drives but the quality of the H3 suks.

I have only owned my H3 for 6 months and its been in the shop three times...
1st:
the famous traction control light came on
2nd:
missing a bolt from the catalytic converter
and the H3 skid plate was missing a bolt and loose.
3rd:
Brakes grinding really bad after 10k in miles.

COME ON !

Its making me really mad that I did not keep my ford.

Yes these are things are being fixed for free under warranty but really, three times in 6 months cant wait to see what the next 6 months bring!

i have onwed three fords and never one problem.

when it was in the shop for the brakes (thursday) i asked them to do me a favor and install the mud flaps i bought, they wanted to charge me 168.00 plus tax. ARE YOU KIDING ME FOR A 70.00 PART ! i was not asking for free but twice the value of the mud flaps!

hummer & GM

YOU ARE NOT IMPRESSING ME !

sorry i had to vent

well when the dealer is 25 miles away ...yes its a pain in the a s s !

maybe u have all the time in the world but i should not have to run to the dealer 3 times in 6 months...so every 2 months i should be prepared to head back to the dealer.

how many times has yours been back ?

all these things could have been avoided by making a better product.

guess i should have checked to see how many people have their hummers back in the shop first before i purchased.

your laughable!! I guess Ford dealers have no service departments...lmao

None of the things you mentioned are major for chits sake!! I worked at dealerships, I know what gets brought in for repair....trust me what you posted is NOTHING.

So a loosened and lost bolt in the skidplate, a loosened and lost or missing bolt in the cat....these things are an indication of a bad product......LMAO. Trust me we had terms for people like you when I worked in the dealerships...and I'm sure your dealership has similiar ones just for you. No man made vehicle will EVER be 100% without problems...just not gonna happen.

Had a FORD good truck but had rear end replaced once and re-worked twice. All under 20,000 miles. Warranty work and dealer was 25 miles away. Traded for H3 but not going to bash Ford due to my bad luck, they still make a good quality vehicle. Hummer dealer is 50 miles awayin Birminghamand it's a pleasure to put my H3 on the interstate to take it there. I guess what i'm getting at is you can have bad luck with any vehicle thats just life. But your not going to get any sympathy on this site. I suggest you trade back for a FORD. I LOVE MY HUMMER!!
