I've double checked, they're not there! Perhaps it wasn't produced in the LA plant, I shipped the car from TX.

you see a lot of things fixed with a coat hanger on cars, antenna, tailpipe,loose mirror, trunk lid,,,
at this point you decide.

 

once i bought an beaten 1994 peugeot 405


battery terminal is secured with hanger cable it was very professional that lasted more than month then i sold it again with no issues


oh and the windshield wiper blades secured with thin ropes instead of clips


the dome light is secured by double tape


the backseat speaker area is so trashed that he covered it with cloth and a toy cat sitting there

Only 2 plants in the world produced the H3. Louisiana and South Africa. Doubt you have a S.A. H3.

Maybe there was some kind of accident and the front panel was replaced with an aftermarket panel? Everyone we have had has had the square holes.

I've been driving for over 3 months in LA with no front license plate and I haven't had any problems, I do have a bull guard in my h3 but I haven't had amy issues yet.
