Default Front hitch mount

Afternoon gents. I'm looking to install a Badlands winch but was curious what you guys are using for front hitch mounts. The ones I see online all have sideways pin holes. I guess vertical holes could be drilled but I wonder if that would significantly reduce the structural integrity of the hitch mount at that point?

Doubt it.
I mean I am sure the DOM square tubing used for the hitch is not setup with the hold, but actually has one drilled as your planning to do

On one of the other forums, its been done. Unfortunately I almost ran to buy the setup only to see the rig would not fit in the garage with the hitch mount installed. I'd have to remove my rear swing arm and tire-which I wouldn't mind doing but I don't have rear tow hooks......errrrr

Oh well. I'll have to find something else to buy for my old lady....

I used a Warn 9500i cradle winch on my H2. I only mounted it when wheeling so it wasn't a garage length issue for me. Connect the Warn power cord, slide the winch into the receiver and put the pin in and you are ready to roll in about one minute.
