when i took my 1st test h3 test drive i was strongly warned not to shift to a lock mode, hi or lo. i learned more in the forums and hear of expensive troubles.

once i found myself in hi lock on the road but it was slick so i was ok. i had forgotten i left it in lock the nite b4 driving thru my yard in snow.

i just dont look at the lites always and needed a warning.

i wired a flashing red led so it works in hi or lo lock and I CANT MISS IT!!

i feel safer now and will share info with anyone interested.

i really think this should be built in since its ez to forget or bump a button

I have bumped mine also. I realize it right away as the differential chatters when cornering.

 

i guess that is what they warned me about

enuf chattering will = big $ huh?

imagine all that power going thru little gears to BIG tires,,on dry pavement, sumpin gotta give!!
