Default Flashing brake light above the spare tire

Well, actually, mine is kind of covered up by the top of the spare tire. But they have a module that can make that light flash 7 times when you put on the brakes.

Do you think the flashing would help folks behind me notice that I'm stopping any better?

I'm sure there's always the possibility that it could. I know this is popular among motorcyclists, and even my bike does it. For me and my motorcycle, even if there is a remote chance that it could keep another driver from rear ending and killing me, its worth it. For a car, especially a Hummer, I'm not sure its worth going out of the way to do, at least in my opinion.

The last few people I've known that have been rear ended, the other driver wasn't even paying enough attention to see a brake light even if it was flashing. Most recently a friend of my dad got rear ended by a teenage girl texting and driving. If someone wants to rear end my H3 I say have at it, I'm sure I'll be fine and I'll gladly take a new truck and/or some new parts.

I have this installed on my MINIs. It is a module that is actually designed for a motorcycle- there are a number of options out there that will work on any 12v system. It flashed 7x then 5x then just stays on (if you are in traffic you don't want to **** off the person in front of you too much)- it then resets after so many seconds.

The install is easy, if you have any questions just drop me a PM.

let me know if I can help... installation is easy- you cut the positive wire and put the module in line and then ground it... so easy even I can do it.
