Factory backup camera to aftermarket unit
Is.it possible to connect the oem camera to the aftermarket radio?
My rearview mirror is damaged . Finding the oem is impossible and expensive . Only reason to keep.it is the popup display for the backup camera
My kenwood unit accept camera .. is there any adapter to keep the existing camera . Will it works with LCd screen.
How is the quality for the afmk compared to oem
Is there any brand/model which can be switched for the oem

In for answers.
H2miami, I know this is a hair off topic, but the video from your camera washed out?
Mine is & I'm considering replacing it. I wouldn't mind getting an OEM since it works well, but I don't know if anything is even wrong with it.

Mine is working right but since the rearview mirror get broken and lose I'm looking to replace with a different one
Also the oem camera quality is very poor compared to the new ones

I'd say as long as the head unit you have has RCA plugs (I can't really imagine any that don't, other than GM, naturally), the camera you picked out should work.
GM appears to have some proprietary connection. I'd venture to say it's just better to go aftermarket, especially if the quality is crapy. You're probably making the right decision to just buy what you did & install it.
You're making me wonder if the camera in my 2009 is the same one they put in all of the earlier models. The quality is really poor, like you say. The camera in my mom's 2008 H3 Alpha has much, much, much better color & it's clearer, despite being older & on a smaller pop out screen like the one you're looking for. I'm also wondering if the housing is hazy.
Good luck on the install!
Edit:
Is this what you're looking for?

I was about to buy That same wire but Im not sure the camera/screen is compatible with the LCD aftermarket unit
So most possible it wont works after connect to the aftermarket unit .
Cruchfield shows the wire as it wont works with aftermarket ..
Anyway cause the low quality camera and the bad position ( right over hitch )
I decided to install a new one ..
Also Im going to use a switch with a diode to power the camera while driving so I can see behind ( trailer )
Let see how it results .. I will post

If you plan to use the factory backup camera with the aftermarket stereo screen this works
If you want to use the lcd screen in the rearview mirror im not sure what you could do. Axxess AX-ADGM01 Interface Harness Connect a new car stereo to select 2006-up General Motors vehicles (retains Bluetooth, warning chimes, Retained Accessory Power, and OnStar) at Crutchfield.com
