I'm replying to an old post but maybe somebody will see this and offer a suggestion. I have an 08 H2 with the factory touch screen navigation system and back up camera. I have only owned this truck for a few months but from the day I bought it I noticed that the display for the back up camera is so bright and washed out that it's really not even usable. I have tried adjusting the brightness and contrast settings but it doesn't help. I'm wondering if my problem is due to the camera itself or the head unit/display? I'm hoping I can find a new camera that will fit in the OEM hole just above my trailer hitch receiver and not have to replace the stock head unit. Any comments?
