What are your thoughts on this cv boot replacement? I was told by a shop that because my boot had a hole in it I would have to replace the whole shaft because you can't just get the boot.

if you want to jut replace the boot id call autozone, see if they have it .i got them for other cars.
probably clik the mouse and see also.

 

I guess my next question would be, the shaft doesn't need to be replaced because of a bad boot right? Also what kind of grease goes in? I also need a seal where would you recommend I get one at? Thanks!

 

!!,,,the one I bought at az came with hardware and grease and jnstructions.
just go to an auto parts store and tell them what you need. they will sell you the right stuff.
and its cheap
take pictures and show everyone.
