H3 front driveshaft rear cv boot replacement.

Default H3 front driveshaft rear cv boot replacement.
I've got A tear in the boot that goes into the transfer case from the front driveshaft. Can you buy the rebuild kit and fix the boot or do you have to buy the whole shaf. Thanks

You can do either. Inside the boot is a C-Clip that holds it together. When you tighten the clamp over the boot, leave some slack in the boot by pushing it back a little or it will rip again.

I don't know if the C/C cv is different from the H3 cv, doubt it and that price is really good if they are the same. I was finding them for about $150 iirc.

Ordered that part and got it replaced last night. Good as new. Only took about 30 min.
