Leaking while truck is not running. Looks to be coming from behind water pump pulley. Reservoirs level dropping 1 inch every 30 minutes. Is this a typical sign of the water pump seal going bad? Help!!!

The most difficult fan to remove ever EVER! Took 2.5 hours. (Didn't have the correct tool) can't believe all that coolant coming from that weep hole?

 

I know this is a little late but FYI you can actually put tension on the belt with the belt tensioner while you break the bolts loose on the fan. Once you have removed them take the belt off then unbolt your fan. Works the same when you are tightening the fan bolts back up. You can use this trick on almost any car or truck with a serpentine belt.

 

And give it a sharp slap on the wrench versus a slow, steady pull to break them loose.

 

The fan clutch nut is not that tight. Use a fan clutch wrench that you loan free from an auto parts and tap the wrench one tiny time and remover the fan & clutch in 20 seconds.
