Default Chirp/Squeak from front wheel area

I'm having a "chirp" sound coming from the front passenger side wheel area. It happens with every revolution of the tire and speeds up and slows down as I accelerate and slow down. I can really hear it while driving in an enclosed area like next to a curb or wall. Applying the brakes doesn't seem to have any affect on it. I plan on taking it to the dealer this Friday but would like to hear some opinions as to what may be causing it. Maybe a wheel bearing or brakes???

Thanks for your help.

How many miles on your truck? Could be brake pad wear sensor.

Unless you're EXTREMELY hard on your brakes, that wouldn't be it.

I bought it with 20k miles on it so I haven't had it long. I wouldn't think it's the brakes either but stranger things have happened. We'll see if the dealer can find anything.

It could actually be the brake pad wear sensor if it was bent "in" when istalled @ the factory. Maybe a small rock has nestled between the rotor and the brake pad. I've seen this happen more than a few times. Maybe a wheel bearing starting to go also. I had to have one of mine replaced @ about 25K on Mr. Black.

I am betting its a wheel bearing. I have had one go out that soon on my old TrailBlazer... If thats the case, it's an easy fix!

A few months back my pad sensor on the pass side started chirping. I got all the supplies to replace the brakes, took the wheel off and found the pads were fine. The tab was bent in about 1/4" more than the drivers side. I would check it yourself if you can. I wouldnt trust a dealer to tell you if it was bent. As we all know, if there is an opportunity to make money they will take it.
