Default Bypassing remote "chirp" for loud horn?

I'm installing a better horn on my 06 but would like to not wake the neighbors when I press the lock button on the remote. The remote locking response can be programmed only for either horn + lights or nothing. The wiring diagrams show no connections between the horn and power locks so I figure it's controlled the computer somewhere but no discreet lead to the horn is shown. I suppose I could figure out a way to isolate the horn and ground it with a relay but I think having a horn with the ignition off is a safety issue...plus I don't want to turn this into an overly complicated project. Has anyone looked at this before? Can it be programmed more completely via the OBD port?

I had a similar situation when I installed my air horns. I left the OEM horn system intact for the alarm set, or, to have a more subtle warning for someone, then I added a separate button on my shifter handle for the air horn......that way my finger was always on the trigger in case I needed it.

Default i must be dreaming

on the first day, i programmed my first, and second h3 for lights only,no obnoxious horn at midnight.
seems like only yesterday i said that. oh well. i know i read it in my instruction book.

now if i could only find a cheap camera that could be programmed for time lapse. im sure its only 2 lines of code in the menu.

edit; i found it,i accidently posted in a wrong thread. i WAS sleeping

AHA!! Thanks for making me go look at the manual again. I had read right past the default RFA 1 setting. Problem solved!
