I was going to bring my camera but the more I think about it .. the more I consider it an instigating factor!!! LOL! In all seriousness .. I'm hoping I can get my new camera in time if not I'll have to rely on the old but pics will be coming ...

 

I just bought a new Sony camera.. I will be bringing it.. 2gb card, so I should have plenty of room for pics and movies.. I just dont have a way to get the pics on my pc... My os isnt compatible with the sony software or usb drivers..

 

OK I got my CB, the same one Nick has. I have no idea how to use it. There are all kinds of things I know nothing about on here, like ST, CB/WX (I'm assuming that switches to NOAA) CH9/19 (what channels are those for) and I know what Scan does. What the helldoes theSquelch **** do? Does that adjust how loud my screams are when I get stuck in a pit of quick sand

 

ch 9 = supposed to be "emergency channel.."

ch 19 = all around channel.. most commonly used by truckers and people on highways..

Squelch = when you hear static, turn the squelch **** until static stops.. then you only hear when someone is talking.. basicaly, the more you turn the squelch, the greater the signal has to be for you to hear.
