Yep, I've brought it up before here but I have a new example. I love this stuff. Big rains in AZ = flooded washes and drivers trying to cross it when it is flooded. Under the law the driver pays for his rescue, and yes, it is called the Stupid Motorist Law.

They should have a stupid ice fisherman law here in MI. Guys go out on the lakes to fish when the ice thawing out, breaks free and they have to reel em in with a chopper, ice boat etc.all cuz some moron was trying to catch a bucket of lake perch or walleye???

That was in the video was nasty, who with a brain would drive into that? Probably an ice fisherman from MI?

 

I can think of a lot of other examples where a "stupid____________" law would be perfect. Wish that would catch on and sweep the country.

 

I love it we need that law in NJ and PA. I would go one step further and not rescue them, thin out the heard. I was watchig the news and the video showed a cop waving this woman to turn around becuse of a flooded road, she flipped off the cop and drove around him only to be swept up in the current. They rescued her and now she's suing the county for breaking her window to pull her out. And she was on her cellphone the entire time!

 

Watching the morning news and that video of that guy in AZ was just on my Philly news station.

 

I almost got busted driving through that stuff when I lived in Cali... the cops put out some barricades and I went past them... same as we always did...

something about the flooding damaging property or something... they never caught any of us... mostly because the cops couldn't drive through the 3-4 foot of water...
