Anyone change their door pins/hinges?
Hey just wondering if anyone has changed their door pins/hinges?
My 03 drivers door is bouncing around when I hit bumps and driving me nuts.
I have searched you tube and all vids are chev pick ups. Are they the same hinge?
Do I just have to do pins and bushings or replace the whole hinge?
Anyone who has info or done this. Please chime in.
Thanks

Not sure when I'll do this but it will be before winter. Will post up for everyone as I'm sure most of the older deuces are seeing saggy doors.
Not only saggy doors but my issue is the detent/stop on the front hinges does not work. It makes sound like it is grabbing but the front doors move all over the place when they are open. I found replacement parts a while back but never saved them or bought them. Annoys the hell out of me. I'll definitely be looking forward to your pics.
If you wouldn't mind, would you take some pics of the door panel removal as well. There has never been any concrete pics or information on removing the panels without breaking something.
All I have read is to just pop the clips but I tried years ago and it felt like the panel was ready to snap.

Popping the door panel isn't too bad. Not like my wife's yukon though. That thing takes like 3 min!
I replaced my mirror and this is what I did.
Step 1
Remove the screw in the panel that covers your interior handle.
Step 2
Get a thin piece of cardboard and small slot screwdriver or scraper. You will use this cardboard to pry on so that the screw driver doesn't leave dents in your panels. Slide the cardboard under anywhere you are prying.
Remove the locks slide. Gently pry with above and it will pop out. Do the same for the button panel. Just work it around the outside and it too will pop out. Disconnect- buttons.
Step 3
Carefully feel around outside panel gently prying just enough to give you an idea where the stud is. Now start working them out. Once you get the panel off somewhat make sure to disconnect the interior door panel light.
This should be about it.
