any way to disable the TPM?
I've seen a ton of posts about how bad the TPM is, and I agree. I now have a low pressure idiot light blaring in my face and I can't stand it. I've had all tires at various PSI from 34-44 (running 33"ers). Does anyone know how to "turn off" the TPM, whether that's even possible? I just want to disable the damn thing altogether.
Other than that, love my 06 H3 Lux + Adv! Thanks.

You may have a TPMS battery going bad??
The ONLY way to get rid of it is to remove all the TP Monitors next time you have tire work done, drill four holes into a 12-18" piece of 2.5" pipe [threaded at each end] the same size as the TPM stem opening, install the TPMs through each hole (just like each wheel), cap the ends of the pipe using plumbers dope, air up the pipe to 36PSI and drive around with that inside your truck.
Silly, but many people do this?

Go somewhere like NTB, they can tell you if the sensor is bad.....all they do is break the bead of the tire and install new one.....the DORMAN part is 48574 and the Schrader part is SV20131...there are a few others around but these are the big names.....about $60 ea with breakdown fixes the problem....may not be worth it to some but definitely worth not seeing lights to me and a much easier fix to do it correctly.
