Default 50,000 mile Plugs??

When I bought our Lux-H2 from the Dealer they said the Plugs/tune upwould last 100,000 Miles.......2004

Now that Im reaching 50,000 miles they say its time to replace them..........

Runs Fine to Me........

Is this Fact or Fiction??

Looked at the 2008 Today...........outside of SomeNew Interior features.......and the Gray front bumper......and a 6 speed Overdrive and hauls 1,800 lbs more than mine does........along with some new Alacart Items..............is it worth a trade??

Most newer cars can go 100,000 miles before plugs are required. If it's running fine, I would not worry about.

I repaced them in my other cars around 75,000 and they looked fine.

About trading up - I have not seen or driven a 08 yet, so no comment.

They are platinum plugs and good for 100K. Tell dealerGM suggests replacement at 100K!

How easy is it to change out the plugs on an H2? Do you reach into the engine compartment or get at them through the wheel well? Do you have to remove the front wheel? Thanks

I have not changed the plugs on my H2 yet but I have only had it for a month and only have 60k miles. I am learning my way around the Engine bay though and it looks pretty easy to get at the plugs. 50k miles sounds way to soon for a plug change. How much do you tow with it?? Do you let it idle alot?? Did they show you the plugs???
