New to forum and looking to purchase an 08 H3 i5. Wondering if a diesel engine can be installed for more power and increased gas mileage? How anyone attempted and been successful with this type of conversion. Thanks.

There are maybe 2 or 3 diesel converted H3s, extensive process involving re-wiring, fabrication, programming, adapters and a ton of labor time.

Part of the reason the H3 started with an I5 is space limitation caused by size, front drive and steering geometry, many motors are not even close to squeezing in there
