Default 06 H3 chime volumn too loud

Help!!!
After owning our 2006 H3 for a year the radio was replaced due to a problem with the orginal. Since then the chime volumn has been up way too high! we've taken it back several times and they just tell us there is nothing wrong with it. There definitly is a big difference in the volumn compare to when we bought it. We've been living with it but am ready to just get rid of it because I think I'm going deaf! Can anyone tell me if there is a way to lower the alarm chime volumn?
Thanks

Do you have navigation? You can change the chime volume from loud to regular through the nav. That's how I do it. Just press config.

If you don't have nav, it must be somewhere around the radio. Personally I actually set mine to loud on purpose.

iphone no our H3 does not have navigation. The volumn was fine till they replaced the radio. I don't mind have a chime alarm that maybe a little on the loud side but this is really really loud. I looked on the owners manual, several mechanics manuals and there is no mention of being able to control the alarm chime volumn.
Thanks
