H3T - N2M Storage Box - recoding lock?
Hello,
I have recently purchased a used OEM full width storage box for my T, however, I am unsure how to “code” my ignition key for the locks, as the locks were coded to the T from the owner I purchased the storage box from.
1. What is the process to recode the locks to my ignition key?
2. Is this something that I would drop off at my local dealership with the second key that they would do?
Cheers

Update:
With enough playing around I ended up being able to use my ignition key to successfully open it with enough jostling and finding the “spot.” Considering the original owner had it coded to his keys, I find this a little bit problematic, considering what I thought would be a secure compartment is no longer that. I have also washed it and left it outside in a light rain to assess the water proofing. Unfortunately, the water proofing leaves a lot to be desired as water was managing to find its way to the bottom in a light shower. I guess my next project is figuring out where it’s leaking from and potentially remove and reinstall the rubber adhesive to waterproof it.
TLDR, I’m left with an OEM Hummer box that different GM keys can open, and leaks water.

You wouldn't find any of my tools in it. More like a party cooler, made in Canada.
