Hi. So I’m posting this thread because I have corrosion in multiple places on my body and engine wiring harness and I would like to replace both main harness but the harnesses have been discontinued and a part. I have the 2009 3.7l H3t Base model.

I guess I’m wondering if anyone has an idea where I might be able to find one or if the h3 3.7l engine harness may work. Or maybe if I got one for the Colorado of the same year if that would match up in any way. I’ve replaced the fuse box and the body control module Already. Currently my truck is throwing a P0315 clutch and crank code. And will not turn over at all. This happened in the past witch is why I replaced the control module And noticed the corrosion last year. Now the issue has returned

Almost everything forward of the back of the front doors is the same for H3s and H3T, but............. I have not personally confirmed the forward wire harnesses are the same. Time to visit local pick n pulls and search car-part.com

 

Wiring harnesses are merely pin outs in a certain order for convenience of plug ins for manufactures.

If you cannot find a way to clean out and restore your connectors.

It is totally ok to make up your own connectors. Just match up the correct coding of wires.
