Hey guys...i never knew this was even there, i was closing my rear gate today and heard a rattle...i was like"what the hell was that".
i looked behind the spare tire carrier and saw a square plastic vent flopping around. I looked it up online and saw its a rear door vent...whats its purpose?
I tried looking it up but couldnt find out why its there, just how to cover it up with after market plates and whatnot...

wow some that rear tail light looks nice! Also does the plastic a frame stay black after you hit them with a heat gun?

 

Thanks. The trim panels are still as black as the day I hit them with a heat gun/coat of trim restorer, and haven't done anything to them since. It's been hot here lately and still black.

 

Dave73, where you been, every late model vehicle made vents air from the interior cabin space for the same reason......
