"In the United States, for regulation purposes (such as VIN numbering and EPA emissions certification), government authorities allow cars of a given model year to be sold starting on January 1 of the previous calendar year. For example, this means that a 2008 model year vehicle can legally go on sale on January 1, 2007."

My '07 mounts flat too. '08 started production 3/07, while there were still '07's in production.

hummerz, Keep back pedaling buddy!
PLEASE, Do a little reading/research from people/sources who know before you cut and paste from some chart from your "fix it" manual.

The 2006 controls for windows were set too far back.

GM made the fix as soon as they could and this is not a wierd quest...

Thanks for that, now I can sleep better at night. However, it does not change the fact that these panels were designed for the 2008 model(starting 01/07). I'm content with my switches flat, since I drive with my seat, adjusted farthermost to the rear. Fyi, Hummer was not designed for the vertically challenged.

A late door panel will not bolt up to an early door. The sheet metal is different. I've had both side by side. I've used late doors on an '06 with the '08 door harness and everything worked fine.
