Default Upgraded battery terminals!

Well, Doc Olds should be happy about this news!
I was inspecting things under the hood today and noticed that the battery terminals looked different from a standard set.
Low and behold...the previous owner replaced the original POS battery terminals with a better set!
I may have been really lucky!!!
What do you think?

Nope............ still Crappy Azzed 2008+ OEM. In late 2007 into 2008 GM updated the first design by adding an open post bolt so that owners adding accessories (like a winch) could attach leads to said added post with a nut. Still garbage.

Well, rats. Guess I will have to get better terminals!
Oh well. It's only money
Thank you Doc Olds for your prompt reply and evaluation.

All that spray does nothing to the corrosion/resistance from the cable through terminal. The problem starts at the cable:

My 3 has clocked 10yrs on Stingers, never an issue! +STILL OEM: alternator,pcm,bcm,etc....

You are absolutely correct about the state of the terminals. Today was the first time I have had even a moment to look under the hood since we purchased it. Yes I inspected it before we bought it but I didn't open the terminal covers. I will be getting new terminals soon!

Hummerz, you are saying the cable crimp is the first part of the problem? I always that it was the post clamp that failed.

I'm still waiting for mine to break :-)

F'd up setup, 3 points for connection. Low grade, improper metal, terminals. Corrosion occurs with moisture intrusion, causing resistance. Excessive resistance in the circuit can and usually will cause voltage problems.
My STINGERS are hardwired direct to the terminals and sealed to prevent moisture intrusion.
