Transmission issue feels like neutral
I’m having same issues. I’ve done all then obvious elementary things stayed like checking and sniffing the trans fluid and also had the trans rebuilt by a reputable shop. The problem came back. He changed the TCM(transmission control module) and it helped for a while but has returned again. It was a salvage part as a new one would have to be programmed by dealer.
When removing the old one after driving a while to make it fail, the old one was very hot. Honestly I’ve done all the simple and expensive stuff too and to no avail. Had something similar happen to my Chevy pickup and changing the switch module on the dash fixed it. I’m going to give that a try but had to order it. Actuator motors and fluid changes haven’t fixed this issue and mine is doing exactly the same as in that video only not moving until you turn it off and start it back. Something is resetting to cause it to work again. Had to be electrical in my opinion but who knows. Love this 2008 H3 but frustrating.

but it start to appear more frequently especially when I’m in a traffic jam.
to reset this issue i have to switch the gear to P then back to D and it will be fixed
I second you it seems as electrical problem but with no clear root cause
is it solenoids?
is it wiring?
sensor ?
