🤔🤔🤔🤔....hm ok well again as ive previously iously mentioned the cap will not seat due to the driveshaft being outta place

 

OUTTA PLACE? Just grease it and pop the cap on then install and it WILL HOLD IN PLACE WHEN INSTALLED.

 

The cap is litterally balancing in the f****** driveshaft......idk how much more English u need IT WILL NOT SEAT IT WILL NOT EVEN FIT WHERE ITS SUPPOSED TO GO...... Im not sure what your not understanding?

So you distorted the cap... straighten it out.... and press fit into placed... NO SLEDGEHAMMER NEEDED!!!! to seat the cap in place.

 

You just need to set the cap in place so that when you put the CV against the T Case mounting flange and start the bolts tightening them to Torque specs presses in the cap and traps it in place.

You are doing fine.
