I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have a 2008 H3 and I lost front wheel drive in all three settings. However I was able to get the rear wheels to move in 4Low for a short distance until I lost that too. Now when I place the vehicle in park it rolls. I have no forward, reverse or ability to place the car in park. Would that be the front differential and transfer case.
when the gas is pushed the front drive shaft does rotate but will not go forward. When placing the car in park I hear a loud clicking noise coming from the transfer case.

 

sounds like the transfer case might be stuck in neutral or between modes.

 

I change the transmission and differential fluid every 25k miles. So I’m pretty sure it’s not the fluid.
i lost front wheel drive in 4hi, 4 hi locked and 4 low. Had real wheel in 4 low and was able to go about 15 miles before losing everything. Now low clicking in transfer case when placing car in drive, 2. It doesn’t matter what I put the 4 wheel in. When I place it back in park it get a terrible clicking sound from the transfer case. Only way transfer case doesn’t make the noise is if I go to neutral turn off car and the place in park.

at any time in park car rolls.

 

I’m pretty sure it’s the transfer case, but didn’t want to go through putting both a transfer case and differential in.

good news is that I just bought a crushed 2007 hummer that rolled over yesterday within 10 miles of where I live for 500.00. Taking parts out now and will replace shift fork.
