Default TPM Questions

So i put a bigger tire on my factory wheel (2007 H3 Lux). The new tire has a max PSI of 80LBS. I have been running 50PSI for the last month and now that it got colder, im getting a service TPM on the dash. I did the reset thing where you key on and off headlight then deflate each tire and got the correct conformation signal each time. So im wondering, is 50PSI to much for the factory TPM or what? What are your thoughts?

Thanks.

I'am not sure about the TPM pressure reading but, why are you running such high pressure. I have 35" and keep them at approx. 32 psi. My TPM light has not come on. It is 20 degrees here today

As indicated, it is a service problem and not a pressure problem. It's either lost it's programming or one has reached the end of it's life. Good Luck

Dude, lower your air pressure to below 40psi. Your back and kidneys will thank you.

One of your TPMs has died. Time to replace one or more of them.

The tire shop should be able to scan for which one is not working.
These TPMS have a battery life of 7 to 10 years so if one has died, the others are not far behind.

If it is dead, you service it by................ replacing it.
