If that's the route you want to take, then go ahead. Maybe your urban experience needs something like that.
I do some serious offroading including rock crawling and haven't seen the need.
I don't think you'll find much support for going with the Sway Away components.

Most of the people you claim are complaining about the front suspension issues are in reality complaining about the IFS suspension/ front axle design.
Those people are most likely to do a solid axle swap, not beefier T-bars.

If I were to put a bumper and winch up front I would just buy Alpha t-bars. I do think the spring rate is a little soft, but I would prefer more travel over stiffer springs. The back is fixable with an extra Tahoe leaf iirc. Good luck with your efforts though.

 

OK.......... please let me ask, what is the measurement of your front end from the fender lip to hub center??

 

To answer the original posters question I would entertain the idea of getting a set depending on the price.
