Default So confused..

Ok so I have a 2008 H3 Hummer and my check engine light turned on...after having it had been diagnosed the p0411 code came up which is a Air Solenoid....My problem is that when driving my transmission keeps slipping out of gear. After shutting the truck down I can start back up and go some more...but this is a repetitive process..when pulling into my driveway I like to back in..but when shifting into reverse nothing happens until I shut the truck down then restart...Mechanics are all telling me it's my transmission and I can't be sure because I don't see a code.... and can't afford 2000 dollar's for something that may not even be the issue...please help..

Are the Mechanics that are telling you, via 1-800, online, or hands on?

MILES on the vehicle are important to know.

When was the last time your Trans fluid and filter were changed? Pull the dipstick, wipe it on a clean white paper towel or rag, what color is the fluid? Does it smell burnt?

You don't need a code to know it is time for a Trans rebuild. When it stops moving because it "is slipping out of gear" ought to be the first clue.

Your P0411 has nothing to do with your Trans.
