Default Replace those motor mounts!

I've got a 2007 H3 I-5 that I've had since 2011. I bought it with 48K miles on it and now I'm at about 150K. About a year ago I had a transmission line leak that was from the line rubbing on something. It was a bit out of my wheelhouse so I had a shop fix it and that was a few hundred bucks. I've had a rattle behind the dash for several months and I just figured it was something loose back there or a wire against the inside of the dash. Too lazy or busy to tear into it so I've lived with it. About a month ago, I spring a power steering leak. Replaced the hoses and it still leaked. I then discovered it was from a hole that was rubbed through on one of the lines on the rack and pinion. Had that repaired and in the process, noticed the motor mount on the passenger side had a sliver of rubber sticking out. The mount is hard to see and access so with the high mileage and seeing some other bushings deteriorating, figured I could spend the $115 for new mounts. I replaced them last night and they were trashed. I think that if I had replaced them a while back, I maybe could have avoided the tranny leak and the power steering leak. Amazing difference after the MM replacement. No more rattle! I see a lot of posts from people asking about vibrations and rattles. We've all got age and miles on our Hummers. I'd bet if you have these issues, you probably need to replace the motor mounts.

How was the job to do? Tough? Easy?

Got part numbers?

Any how-to's you would recommend? Link?

Thanks.

Hi , yes i have those issues. just 8 days ago i removed the front diff and replaced all3 bushings and the axle shaft seals. huge improvement .probably should have rplaced the MOTOR mounts then. OOPS. mine are torn and some vibration continues. my Q is HOW DID YOU GET THE PASSENGER SIDE OUT? As i looked from below it seems the front diff needs to come out again. I hope it isnt so. DO YOU REMEBER?
