Default Replace hydroboost

Adding psf almost every time that I need to leave the house. Mechanic found the hydro boost leaking; so, I am replacing. Is new my best option? Or will remanufactured suffice? Over 150,000 miles.

I added AT-250 to my power steering fluid and it stopped my leaks but mine was not leaking as bad as yours. mine was leaking at the brake pedal inside the cab. I also added it to my transmission oil and my motor oil it cured most of my leaks but I did have to snug down all related bolts just to make sure it would finish sealing.

So what do you think? New at over $500? Or remanufactured at $160?

I tried the psf with Leak Fix; but it is still leaking out. Mechanic showed me the dripping from the hydro boost.

I have not replaced mine yet so I do not have a suggestion. but they do have rebuild kits for them. https://swperformanceparts.com/gm-27...yABEgI4lPD_BwE I am sure there are you tube videos showing how to install it.

If you are keeping it for years, go with a new unit. If you are going to get rid of it in a year or so go with the reman.

I've rebuilt 1 unit, lasted a week. Replaced it with a reman unit, lasted a week. Purchased brand new, no issues. In hind site, gong cheap here never made any sense. The last thing you want is to have brake issues. I think I got mine from a GM dealer for a little over $300 brand new.
