Just noticed a small puddle under our 08 H3 with 48,000 miles, dripping from the edge of the skid plate on the drivers side. Looks like the leak is from the upper right (driver side) of the radiator. I'll be checking with the dealership tomorrow. Hope things wills be covered under the powertrain warranty which still has 5 months of coverage. If not, is there a good aftermarket brand of radiator to consider other than a GM product?

Good news!!! after opening a case w hummer then speaking with customer service GM and 2 days without my ride...they offered me a 60/40 split...originally told me $753 I ended up paying $197 and I can handle that ..with a newly designed radiator put in...thanks for alllll the help on this forum...btw mention this forum and the fact that they've been helping people in or out of warranty and normally you only pay the diagnostic fee and the fact that they basically admitted it has a defect by redesigning the radiator..my hummer was left to me by my father when he passed so taking care of it is very important to me

Seperate issue. The transmisson cooler is an internal problem that would not show up as an external leak.

Hi, I called and oped a case# at hummer and got the number from this thread somewhere near the beginning or middle...if you go back and read a few people give out the hummer cust serv or complaint phone number...you need to call them and tell them you want to open a case over your radiator...then I followed that up by calling GM customer service because u have to get the case number from hummer but in the end GM will handle it...they will give you the case# while your on the phone w hummer...It saved me some wait time to go ahead and call GM and give them the case# and explain my side of things and why I thought it should be covered...I think this is the hummer# 1-866-486-6376 and GM corporate is 1-800-222-1020 if you DONT GIVE UP and stand your ground they should offer you some help

add my 08 manual with 62,200 on the odometer to the list. Less than 1 month out of the powertrain warranty. yay for me.

If anyone has any case numbers they'd be willing to provide, I'd appreciate it. I've already made the initial call to GM.

Mine leaked, over heated. New / rebuilt transmission and new radiator. Big PIA but GM paid the bill 100% including towing and car rental.
