This is a popular problem in our H3's mine went out at 32000. Easy fix but where the seal is at is weak since we all have 5 speeds might as well add a tranny cooler to them too.

 

I just bought a 07 H3 and was at 42000 miles mint cond. My radiator cracked across the top like evervbody else. Took it to dealer and they replaced it for free

 

Also it must be a new and improved radiator it is designed different

 

Same thing is happening to my 2006 H3 with 52k on the clock. Good thing I bought extended warranty right after I bought the car thru Costco.. I'll let you know if everything works out..

 

Hummer agreed to replace my radiator for free. This is one great topic. Hope everyone else is as fortunate with replacing their radiator is I was. It's going to be replaced on Monday March 12th.

You know it is a common problem when the dealership keeps them in stock

 

My 2007 (with 84K) was leaking radiator fluid, I went to the dealer and they finally after me pleading with them agreed to pay 50%

Better then me paying all of it!

BTW, look at your right where the raditor cap neck is...it will be rubbing on the crossmember below, you will need a flashlight to see it plus starring and looking very close!

 

i decided to go with the new and improved model to eliminate any further problems in the future...

Is that a 'one of a kind' custom fab, or an off the shelf for a H3? I'd liked to know the manufacturer for future reference!
