Well I found it's cracked right across from the radiator mount on the top right! I can squeeze the upper radiator hose and watch gms plastic piece of crap tank flex! I have 58000 miles on it ! Looks like the stress point every one like "dr" was talking about started this prob! I do however have an appointment at at gm dealership my buddy hooked me up with a service writer there and they r going write it up so I only have to pay for diag for 100 dollars! Awesome !
After several attemps with epoxy to seal mine I dove into the fibergalss resin and mesh. I am not paying $1200 for my local dealer to replace the rad and I am too busy to do it myself right now. I went to Home Depot and bought the resin and mesh, roughed up the area around the crack, mixed up the resin with hardener, painted some on, put a 2" x 8" strip of mesh down, let it dry for an hour, and repeted for 3 layers. The patch is extremely ridgid and I think I have a winner this time.
Come on you guys... Find a local reputable radiator shop. Three hours time. $260 bucks (or thereabouts depending on where you live) and you have it fixed better than stock and with a warranty. This is not rocket science. It is not even worth the time and money spent trying to repair it yourself.
Purchased my 2006 H3 in Columbus, Ohio April, of 2011. Had 49,000 miles on it and still looks brand new. Now has just over 52,000 and out of warranty.
8 days ago I started smelling coolant and then noticed small little puddle under the front end, not much but enough to notice.
After doing some of my own investigating. I noticed on the driver side top of the radiator there is a foam strip that runs all along the front top of the radiator. Noticed it saturated. so I started to pull the foam off little by little and there it was, looked as if the plastic swelled a little and split or cracked.
Any suggestions to getting this fixed? Should I just replace the radiator myself? If so anybody have any suggestions on a good replacement non China made radiator?

I did read the most of the earlier posts. Wasn't much interested in China made radiators though... Plus nobody has really said any kind of review on their new radiators..
As for getting it fixed at the dealer, sounds like it could go either way after you fork out the money for a diagnoses..

I got a radiator from Radiator Express a week or two ago but was waiting on parts for an E-fan conversion before installing it. Since the fan showed up without the temp probe bag I'm driving around in the Jeep until all of the hdwr shows up. I hate to do the work twice! Anyway, I figure it will take another 2 or 3 years to really form an opinion of the new radiator to see if it will crack again (I expect it will). It appears to be an exact copy of the original fwiw.
