Default Radio on but no sound

I have checked the fuses, the cables on the radio (is the original one)

Please help!! 🙏

From time to time it starts to sound but as soon as I turn the hummer off and back on it does not work anymore

Yes, it was working. I still put a new one when I was verifying the fuses that had to do with the radio.

Are your speakers dead? The OEM speakers suck and get trashed in the doors from weather exposure. Might be time for a long overdue upgrade.

Happened to me with my 07, and many others. First one goes, then another & you still may not notice until it is like 2 on the same side, or both in the front etc...

My 07 system is still oem. I drive above the speed limit with max volume. ALL speakers/sub/amp still working properly. All interior/exterior panels still vibrate with radio on max. Enough sound for me and the neighbors.

Most likely all of your speakers are toast. Take off a door panel and test the speakers with a 9V battery to the terminals.
If it does not "burp" it's dead.

Highly doubtful ALL 7 speakers failed. Radio signal is sent to the amp that feeds the speakers.
