Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
Hello NTMMD8R,
I remember the Qualy Gator. A group from Shreveport were visiting the Lansing, MI GM plant where I worked. They were working on door fit issues on the Hummer H3 before it was put into production. Typical pre-production stuff. One fellow was wearing a hat with the Gator on it. Thought it was pretty cool. Good bunch of folks.

Cool! When we first started building them, I did toe-in and then DVT. Sure hate to see it closed!
My wife just bought a 2008 H3 for my 60th birthday. I get it and it’s missing the round sticker, on the inside, rear edge, of the driver’s door. The sticker that has the alligator and the Shreveport plant on it. It’s important to me as I retired from there mid 2009. If somebody could post or message me, a good picture of one, plus it’s size, Kathie thinks she can replicate it with a good pic. Looking forward to this forum, thanks in advance for any help.
Not sure if this was what you are looking for, and I am late to the party BUT -
I just bought a ‘94 S10 with the following sticker on it. Was wondering what it was but I think I figured it out thanks to you.
S-10 EV. GM assembled 492 (mostly restrictive leased & scrapped) and only sold 60 @ $33k with a 45 mile range.
A 45 mile range? You would need to tow a trailer with a generator as a range-extender just to make it to the next charging station, and then wait all night for the pack to charge. Talk about yer old tech.
