Ahh Bronxteck might be on to something, I just checked the part numbers for actuator assemblies the part numbers are different...

Only the PCM needs to know what Cam Phasers are in the motor, the truck chasses doesn't care, it's clueless. If it were me I'd be using the 2007 PCM, should start and drive after install in the 06.
