I have seen so many unusual problems and worked with some of the best techs in the business,,and this fix was the most simple and interesting,, Another Hummer owner on here posted a thread on where he disconnected both battery terminals and thouched them together and then reinstalled the cables to the battery. I found this interesting,,after i checked the #8 fuse and #68 relay,,which was working fine,, i decided to remove the battery terminals,,and to touch them and reinstall the terminals. And believe it or not,,IT WORKED.. my door locks work fine, as does the drivers window. I give many thanks to my fellow Hummer owners as well as this website.

same happened to me this xmas week. Lock&unlock did not work and drivers side window would not budge but all the rest were fine. We took it to a shop up the street. The mechanic said there was a break in a wire in the door panel which was causing it to short. He fixed the wire and we have had no issues sense. Cheap and easy fix.

Try your original master switch or the new 1,

1-hit-> key fob unlock, open door
2-unplug both master switch connectors, remove master switch
3-close door, hit-> key fob lock
4-take master switch away from the vehicle(far enough where your key fob won't work)
5-go back to vehicle
6-hit->key fob unlock, open door
7-plug in both master switch connectors
8-start vehicle
9-now check switches & fob
