Not ignition power (per say)...does not constantly run. turns on when the key is turned and radio turned on and battery amps are 13.9 and battery 100% from 48 hours ago. Whereas, by this time before it was changed, battery amps were 10 and battery percentage was 24%. I can't explain it, but it's been working.

You keep dancing around your rigged wiring. Bottom line, the amp should stay hot at all times! The only time you will draw amperage from the amp, is when you turn the radio on! If you have the amp power connected to ignition, you will cause issues!

he already stated that humerz. he corrected the issue. he most likely had the Amp remote on a constant supply instead of a keyed one or radio on one. its usually a blue or blue with white wire depends on the radio itself.

Bronxteck~

You are correct sir, TY! It was a blue wire. Finally, someone who understood! (no offense, Hummerz).

OEM wire should be pink.

You have the Monsoon Amp. on your H3 = Did you use the 'correct' wire harness to install the aftermarket stereo?

Yes I did. I bought it from Crutchfield and the rep I spoke with on the phone.... who asked me what I had .... and he told me what to buy. And since I changed the wire from constant, I have had no issues. Battery 100% and drawing is .02
