battery/amp issues

So I finally figured out why my H3 battery kept dying, when i took out the amp fuse out my battery went back to normal. My question is if I change my headunit will this fix everything?

unplug the power cable from the head unit.
replace the fuse.
count to ten
ifn the fuse iz good,,,

the head is bad
