My oil sensor was malfunctioning on my 2008 H3 so replaced it but now oil pours out of the wire end of the sensor does this mean I bought a faulty sensor or is there a o ring or something that I may have missed on the wire plug that attaches to it?

 

Cracked during installation? O-ring & sealer on threads.

 

if it was an aftermarket it probably is just faulty. or someone swapped there bad one with the new one and returned it to the auto parts. it should not leak through the sensor and come out the harness
