I don't know about you'uns; but I have a heckuva time reading the long oil dipstick end on my '06 H3.

I've tried turning it every which way i can, trying with and without my glasses on and still have a problem seeing the oil level!

Can anybody see a potential problem if I painted the end where the oil registers flat white so the oil would stand out against it?

Or, does anybody have any other solutions on how to make the dipstick easier to read?

had this problem on my 08 h3. i took an engraver and engraved two notches between where the oil should be the notches came out more silverish. . ive also seen people take a very tiny drill bit and drill a series of holes in a line as level a level indicator. just make sure u remove any burring or material afterwards
