Also, a lot of dirty oil left in the pan due to the protruding threads inside the oil pan!
Simple math to a proper oil change for engine longevity, subtract ALL old oil and add new oil.
The lever does not stick down and is not in a vulnerable position. Ditto for the nipple. No difference between the Fumoto and the Stalhbus when it comes to the threads inside the oil pan. The difference in the amount of oil left in the pan is negligible.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I would like to add that I have personally dragged my entire under carriage up, over and through some pretty gnarly terrain and NEVER had an issue with the FUMOTOs.

The position of the lever is random and will vary between vehicles, depending on how the threads are clocked, right? Or is it adjustable?

According to the test I searched after removal of that jap plug around 5% DIRTY oil still left inside the pan. Quick is not the best for an engine oil change, I let mine drain for around an hour before I reinstall the plug. 6qts out, 6qts in.

Nearly 10 ounces left? I call BS, but you'll never admit otherwise, so... Oh wait, you wrote that in bold, it must be true.

All of ours orientated to the top once threaded. H3T Alpha (2009 & 2010), H3 Alpha (2008), Envision Avenir (2022), Canyon AT4X 2.7L (2023), Excursion V10 (2005), Husqvarna GT48xlsi (2013), and several other small engines.

You test it.. after drain with the jap plug, remove and drain separate, then post the results.

Does engine oil color mean anything?

The color of engine oil can provide some insight into the overall health of the engine and its lubrication system.
  1. Fresh motor oil should be amber and clear, similar to honey. This indicates that the oil is in good condition and doing its job of lubricating and protecting the engine.
  2. Dark brown or black oil may indicate that the oil is dirty or has been in use for an extended period of time. This can be caused by the accumulation of dirt, debris, and other contaminants. If the oil appears this way, it may be time for an oil change.
